Coaching, connection and information for family members and caregivers
SARRC understands that parents are a child’s first, and most important, teachers. Family members and trusted caregivers play a vital role in supporting people with autism—and family members need support, too.
SARRC offers a range of programs to meet the needs of parents, grandparents and caregivers. Services include:
- Educational events
- Opportunities to connect with other families impacted by autism
- Hands-on coaching for parents
- Support through new life transitions for individuals with ASD
All services promote the use of evidence-based interventions and strategies for individuals with autism. SARRC specializes in the dissemination of naturalistic teaching strategies including Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT).
