February 18 Tour & Donor Appreciation Event

If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about what happens behind the scenes at SARRC, here’s your chance to attend an exclusive tour on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at our NEW Mesa campus!

Established in 1997, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center has evolved to offer numerous programs and services for children, teens, and adults, as well as conduct some of the most innovative autism research. We invite members of the community to join us for a special behind-the-scenes tour of SARRC. Participants can look forward to:

  • Meeting SARRC’s President & CEO
  • Learning about research at SARRC
  • Visiting our inclusive Community School
  • Hearing a client’s journey to community-based employment
  • Hearing a parent’s personal story

The tour will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a brief awards ceremony from 10:45-11 a.m. and optional volunteer experience from 11-11:30 a.m.

Also Featuring:

  • Awards Ceremony: A short awards ceremony to honor SARRC’s Volunteer of the Year and the Corporate Volunteer Group. Everyone is welcome to join us for this recognition event, which will take place from 10:45-11 a.m. Refreshments will be served!
  • Volunteer Opportunity: From 11-11:30 a.m., stay for a hands-on volunteer experience with SARRC’s Community School program. Help prepare lesson plan materials, including tasks like cutting, laminating, and assembling classroom activities. This is a wonderful chance to get a firsthand look at what it means to be a SARRC volunteer!
