SARRC’s Swirl, Sip & Savor Raises $375K

On April 13, more than 160 guests came together to support Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) at the Royal Palms Resort & Spa to raise awareness and funds for ThinkAsperger’s, an initiative creating awareness, early diagnosis and solutions for individuals with Asperger’s syndrome and their families.

The event raised more than $375,000, which will directly support ThinkAsperger’s. This marks the third Swirl, Sip & Savor event featuring a fine wine and dining experience, as well as a live auction.

The biennial event, presented by title sponsor MJ Insurance, was chaired by Laura Bill, Patty Dion, Liz Gerlach, Melissa Kenly, Mac Perlich, Kristi Synek, Lyndsey Waugh and Jaime Wright. Guests enjoyed tastings from premier California wineries and Valley chefs from the Phoenician, Four Seasons Resort, Royal Palms Resort & Spa and Virtù provided a four-course dining experience.

The reception showcased AldenAlli, Amuse Bouche, August West Wine, Caraccioli Cellars, Paul Hobbs Wine, Talley Vineyards and Valdez Family Winery. Guests participated in a live auction featuring unique wine experiences and wine lots, including a one-of-a-kind, hand-etched 5L jerobaum of Amuse Bouche 2015 signed by renowned Chef Jacques Pepin.

Thank you to all of our generous sponsors including APS, Arizona Cardinals, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, ON Media Publications, Hensley Beverage Company and Quench Fine Wines.
