Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is pleased to announce Thomas Baker, Anthony Herro and Jon Hulburd to its Board of Directors.
Thomas Baker, Ph.D. | Boston Consulting Group, Managing Director and Partner
Thomas Baker is a Managing Director and Partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), specializing in clean energy and decarbonization. He leads BCG’s Low Carbon Energy & Infrastructure Sector globally and has worked across North America, Europe, and Asia. Thomas looks forward to advancing SARRC’s mission as one of the newest members of its Board of Directors.
“I am incredibly honored and humbled to be joining the board of SARRC,” Thomas says. “We’ve seen firsthand through services my son has received the impact SARRC can have. All the therapists at SARRC are committed, thoughtful, hard-working and caring. They have changed the trajectory of my son. SARRC is committed to serving the needs of those with autism and I’m humbled to be part of an amazing organization of people who make so much of a positive impact.”
Anthony Herro, DDS. | Dental on Central, General Dentistry and Special Needs Dentistry
Dr. Anthony Herro has dedicated his career to serving patients with special needs, helping them manage fear and anxiety during dental care at Dental on Central. IIn addition to his work, Dr. Herro is a founding faculty member of the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. He is committed to advancing special care dentistry and improving access to care for vulnerable populations.
“True healthcare is about more than just treatment—it’s about understanding the individual,” Anthony says. “My mission is to provide compassionate care, especially for those with special needs, ensuring they receive the attention and respect they deserve. By tailoring treatment to each person’s unique medical and emotional needs, I aim to make every patient feel heard, valued, and comfortable in their journey to better health.”
Jon Hulburd | Attorney & Businessman
Jon Hulburd is an attorney and businessman whose work has taken him from Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. to a partnership in an Arizona law firm. Outside of work, Jon focuses most of his attention on making a difference in the community, where he has donated his legal expertise to the Golden Gate Community Center in Phoenix and his time to All Saints’ Episcopal Day School. Additionally, Jon is a Lifebird with the Thunderbird Charities and serves on the Board of Directors for New Way Academy, the MVP Foundation and Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he serves as Chairman.
“As a longtime financial supporter, I’m very proud and excited to join SARRC’s board of directors,” Jon says. “This institution serves a vital role throughout the region building inclusive communities for individuals with autism and their families.”
