Michael H. Bill, the CEO of MJ Insurance, has been elected to Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center’s (SARRC) board of directors.
“Our board of directors are an integral part of our success,” said SARRC President and CEO Daniel Openden, Ph.D. “Our board is comprised of community and business leaders who are deeply engaged in supporting individuals with autism and their families. Mike’s broad experience, business acumen, and outstanding relationships, as well as his mission-driven mindset, will be an essential part of our team.”
Bill joined the MJ Insurance team in 1992. He became president in 2001 and was named CEO in 2006. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the firm and has been instrumental in catapulting MJ Insurance to one of the top 100 independent agencies in the country.
“I am pleased to be named to the SARRC board,” said Bill. “I look forward to bringing my experience and expertise to an organization of which I am extremely passionate and holds a special place in me and my family’s heart.”
Throughout his career, Bill has been recognized as a community leader and serves on an impressive mix of local and national foundations. Since 2006, Bill has been active with SARRC as a supporter, host and attendee of several community events.
Bill is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
