On Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, SARRC celebrated its third annual YES Day for Autism—a fundraising and awareness campaign, culminating with a free community event and celebration at Tempe Beach Park.
More than 100 team participants, 36 event sponsors, and over 2,000 attendees came together to celebrate awareness and acceptance for children, teens and adults with autism.
Leading up to the event, teams raised more than $400,000 to support SARRC’s goal of being able to provide support and access to families across our state.
During the event, communities across Arizona had the chance to meet with nearly 60 autism resource partners, a free pumpkin patch thanks to Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation, a carnival zone, and live entertainment.
Through SARRC’s YES Day for Autism, we will continue to celebrate what is possible when we work together, share resources, and collaborate effectively to say “yes” for people with autism and their families. And importantly, all dollars raised will stay in Arizona for Arizona.
