SARRC Celebrates 23rd Annual Community Breakfast

Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) held its 23rd Annual Community Breakfast on Thursday, April 29! The 45-minute event featured personal stories from families, clients, and community leaders. The program highlighted notable projects including collaborations with Great Hearts Academies, which is working with SARRC to screen and identify students with social challenges; Steak 44 which is recognizing the benefits of recently hiring an adult with autism and is looking to expand opportunities nationally; and VirTra Inc., which has created video simulators that are reaching police officers throughout the country and promoting safer interactions between law enforcement and individuals with autism.

Funds raised during the annual breakfast support SARRC’s mission to advance research and provide a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families.
