There were plenty of smiles, excitement and a few slam dunks on June 4 as SARRC celebrated the unveiling of the new Gamechanger Court located at SARRC’s 16th Street Campus.
The new court was made possible through a grant awarded by the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation, recognizing the meaningful impact the space will have on the clients and familes SARRC serves.
Designed to support recreation and community, the court will provide a welcoming place for clients participating in SARRC programs to stay active, build relationships and have fun.
The celebration featured special guests including former Phoenix Suns player Mark West, who joined families and staff for the event. The Suns’ Gorilla and Mercury mascot Scorch also helped bring the energy, joining in for a ceremonial first shot on the new court.
