Robin Crane Cochran

With a prior background in special needs planning and elder law, Robin Crane Cochran first learned about SARRC while counseling her legal clients who were deeply impacted by family members facing developmental challenges.

So, when Robin witnessed several of her friends as mothers of children with autism struggling to find the needed resources and educational solutions for their children, she leaped into action. She referred her friends to SARRC.

“I have witnessed firsthand the lives fundamentally changed by the tremendous support and educational solutions provided by SARRC,” says Robin.

As she became more familiar with SARRC, Robin saw a great need, so decided to become involved as a volunteer in 2016.

Currently the Development Director for Christian Care, an Arizona nonprofit that supports underserved seniors, Robin is able to blend her professional background and passion for helping others as a volunteer member of SARRC’s Planned Giving Professional Advisory Council.

Robin has also joined the Legacy Circle, where she has been able to make a planned gift to support SARRC’s programs, services and research for years to come.

“I believe that together, as individuals and communities, we can unite our resources to help these individuals live their lives to the fullest and am truly excited to continue my efforts as a volunteer and Legacy Circle member to support the important mission of SARRC,” says Robin.

Through her work on the committee, Robin has helped organize many valuable education programs for families with youth or adults with autism. She also assists in planning education programs for professionals in the community so they can learn to better serve their clients with children or adults with autism.
