23-year-old CG5, Charlie Green, a prolific singer/songwriter and music producer from Arizona, will perform at SARRC’s second annual YES Day for Autism event on Sunday, Oct. 23 at Tempe Beach Park.
YES Day for Autism (9 a.m.-noon) is a free community event and fundraiser hosted by SARRC and features an autism resource fair, games, live entertainment and performances, a pumpkin patch, and much more! People across Arizona who are driven by a desire to create more supportive, inclusive communities for individuals with autism are invited to attend. YES Day for Autism raises critical funds which will support SARRC’s goal of being able to provide support and access to services for families across Arizona.
“I’m excited to be a part of YES day! My younger brother, Jonah, has autism and he’s been an important part of my life,” explains CG5. “I have level one autism and SARRC helped to connect me with the resources I needed. It feels good to give back and I’m so thankful for the opportunity!”
To date, CG5 has garnered an impressive following and is well known for his YouTube channel with over 3.6 million subscribers and has obtained over 1 billion views, becoming one of the platforms’ leading music creators. In 2020, CG5’s popularity rose on TikTok with 1.8 million followers through his trending single “Absolutely Anything.” The single was hand-picked by Warner Music’s imprint label Spinnin Records for redistribution – making it CG5’s first commercial success.
CG5 will perform from 11-11:25 a.m and will also host a meet-and-greet event with fans following his performance and will be selling swag to benefit SARRC. The 2022 YES Day for Autism event highlights include:
- Resource Fair: Visit and chat with more than 50 autism providers located throughout the Valley.
- Live Entertainment & Special Performances: Join celebrity personal trainer Chris Powell at the main stage for a 9 a.m. morning stretch, followed by numerous performances including special musical guest, CG5, at 11 a.m.!
- Sprouts Pumpkin Patch: Choose a free pumpkin in the Sprouts Pumpkin Patch and head to our no-carve decorating stations.
- Carnival Zone: Enjoy an array of arts and crafts, face painting stations, carnival games and prizes, team relay races and much more.
- Eats and Treats: Explore local food trucks dishing up delicious eats from around the Valley.

Get the morning moving with celebrity personal trainer, @Chris Powell! Chris will engage the crowd with a fun, energetic stretch routine that everyone can participate in!
9:30 a.m.: YES Day for Autism Pledge
Join SARRC President & CEO, Daniel Openden, as he officially introduces the vision behind the event and leads us everyone in the YES Day for Autism Pledge.
10 a.m.: BeKind Crew
Be Kind™’s vision is to build a generation of respectful, responsible, healthy, and caring citizens and leaders. Join them as they perform and connect with the audience through music and dance!
10:30 a.m.: Gateway Academy Band
Rock on with the Gateway Academy Band! Gateway Academy is an all-inclusive, supportive school, and their band will perform three songs to get the crowd rocking!
10:45 a.m.: Arizona Autism Charter School
Cheer on the AZ Autism Charter School dance team as they perform their fall lineup and wow the crowd!
11 a.m.: Charlie Green, CG5
This is one performance you don’t want to miss! We are thrilled to welcome CG5, a 23-year-old prolific neurodivergent singer/songwriter and music producer from Arizona.
