Greg Wells

Recently, SARRC proudly announced that Greg Wells had been appointed Chairman of the SARRC Board of Directors. His leadership on the Board and his membership in the Legacy Circle mean a great deal to the organization and Greg.

For Greg, it’s not just another accolade in his prestigious career; it is a way to give back to an organization that has been supportive of his family. Wells has an immediate family member on the spectrum who has flourished through participation in SARRC programs.

“SARRC has given much to my family and others,” Greg says. “Our commitment of time and personal resources to SARRC is one way we express our appreciation.”

For Greg and his wife, Desiree, the perfect way to demonstrate their gratitude was to join a new philanthropic program at SARRC – the Legacy Circle. Not only could they show their support, but they could also have a direct impact on the program’s success.

The Wells, who moved to Phoenix in 1991, are Tucson natives. Greg has had an extensive career in human resources and currently works as the Vice President of Human Resources and Employee Development for Blue Cross Blue Shield Arizona. In addition to his position on the SARRC Board, Greg serves on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Action Alliance.

Through his work and service, Greg has learned the importance of cultivating meaningful relationships for the betterment of the organization. It is that skill set that makes Greg a great leader for the Board and an outstanding advocate for the Legacy Circle.

“We know that our Legacy Circle contribution will help to ensure SARRC’s ability to help others impacted by autism for many years to come,” Greg says.
