SARRC Welcomes Two New Board Members

Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is pleased to announce Lukas Grabiec, J.D., and Amy Pawlowski to its Board of Directors.

Lukas Grabiec, J.D. | Lead Corporate Counsel, Gen Digital

Lukas Grabiec is the Lead Corporate Counsel at Gen Digital, parent company of Norton and LifeLock, and has spent more than 15 years in senior legal roles at global technology leaders, including Google, Uber, GoDaddy, Intel, Microchip and Honeywell. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he teaches on AI Law and in-house practice. Named an “Up and Comer” Attorney of the Year early in his career and a graduate of Poland’s prestigious Szkoła Liderów program, he is deeply involved in international innovation through the US-Poland Trade Council and the US-Poland Innovation Hub. A proud father of four, including his eldest son, who is on the autism spectrum, Lukas looks forward to supporting SARRC’s mission as a member of its Board of Directors.

“My commitment to SARRC is fueled by my journey as a father to Patryk, who is on the autism spectrum. I have witnessed the transformative power of intervention firsthand. Patryk progressed from a contained classroom setting until 6th grade to integrating into the general student population in middle school,” Grabiec shares. “He successfully graduated high school and is now an independent college freshman. This amazing journey, and the challenges we overcame, drive me to ensure the West Valley community, and all families, can access the critical services SARRC provides. I am joining the Board to advance this vital mission of empowerment and lifelong achievement.”

Amy Pawlowski | Executive Director, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Arizona

Amy Pawlowski has spent more than 15 years improving systems of care for individuals with developmental and complex needs. She currently serves as Executive Director of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan’s Complex Care Programs, overseeing three statewide health plans serving roughly 100,000 Arizonans — including the Developmental Disabilities Plan and two Dual Special Needs Plans — along with initiatives in health equity, housing, employment, tribal and veteran services and family support. Amy began her career at the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities, gaining deep operational and Medicaid expertise. She is passionate about advancing innovative, person-centered care and is excited to support SARRC’s mission as a member of its Board of Directors.

“I am excited to join SARRC’s Board of Directors because I believe in its mission and vision. To me, SARRC is a premier organization for research, resources and services for individuals with autism and their families,” Pawlowski says. “By serving on the board, I hope to help strengthen SARRC’s impact, expand access to life-changing programs and ensure that every family in Arizona has the support they need to thrive.”
