Mentorship Opportunities
SARRC is always looking for teen mentors to volunteer in either our PEERS Program or CommunityWorks program. Teens gain leadership skills while gaining a better understanding of neurodiversity and of those who may be different from themselves. In addition to being a fun, meaningful way to get involved within the community, you will be a role model by modeling appropriate social behavior and helping provide a supportive, inclusive environment. As a teen mentor, the experience can be used in a resume, a college application or volunteer hours for school requirements.
If you would like to become a mentor in any of the listed programs, please contact our Family Resource Team at 602-606-9806.
