The Milestones Program offers services for parents of infants and young toddlers. Whether searching for information or more consistent monitoring and potential very early intervention, we have you covered.
These services were created specifically for growing families who have a child with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or any parent who is interested in their child's development. These services will provide you with helpful information to make the first year and a half of your infant's life a supported experience.
Every family will have a unique experience of the range of Milestones services based on their family and their child's development at different time points.
The Milestones Program offers three services:
Milestones Education and Information: Offering parents evidence-based information on developmental milestones and parenting practices that encourage play and interaction. Participation is offered in-person or through email.
Milestones Monitoring: Let us watch you grow! Assessments begin as early as 6 months and continue every 3 months until your baby graduates from the Milestones Program at 18 months. Assessments will provide valuable information and will yield a clinical recommendation for parents as their baby learns and grows.
Milestones 12-Week Consultation: For infants that are demonstrating enough early warning signs of ASD through monitoring, a 12-week parent-implemented early intervention program is offerents. Participation will be determined based on assessment and/or a very early diagnosis and availability of service. During the program coaches will work together with parents to target goals through play and everyday interactions.
