This webinar is intended for parents or caregivers of children ages 2-9 and will focus on various, but intentional, approaches and interventions that can be implemented prior, during, and after medical visits. More specifically, this webinar will provide information on preparing your child for a medical visit, supporting your child during the appointment, and practices to do after appointments that will make following appointments even more successful.
About the presenter
Mandi Winters is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has been working at SARRC since 2016. Prior to joining the team at SARRC, she began her journey in supporting children with autism as a classroom teacher. Her experience includes supporting children with autism across varied settings, including the home, community, and school settings as well as providing training and support to parents, grandparents, siblings, and teachers that care or support a child with autism. Mandi is most passionate about working alongside parents of children with autism to empower them as they navigate their day-to-day life with their child with autism.
