INTERNSHIPS FOR ADULTS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER
Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) offers Beneficial Beans internships through its social enterprise businesses for adults with autism to gain general employment skills and work history. The program introduces interns to a unique 12-week training plan, which will prepare individuals for community-based employment. Internships are available in our Beneficial Beans Garden located on our campus.
Interns can expect to learn general employment skills that will help them obtain and maintain a job. These skills include task management, time management, customer service, attention to quality, responding positively to change and accepting feedback.
