Arizona Donations for Autism Research
As a nonprofit we rely on the generosity of our donors to keep SARRC's doors open. We are proud of our accomplishments in this last year. They include:
- Positively affected the lives of 1,200 children, youth and adults; 5,000 parents and family members; and 3,700 education and medical professionals
- Our inclusive Community Preschool was recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as one of the top, most promising programs in the country for children with autism spectrum disorders
- Opened our Colonel Harland D. Sanders Center for Autism Studies, providing a greater impact on autism by engaging in more pharmaceutical, therapeutic and diagnostic research, while at the same time facilitating research on the ever-increasing number of adults living with autism
- Our Vocational & Life Skills Academy has placed more than 65% of our clients with autism spectrum disorders into competitive employment in our community - compared to a dismal 10% being employed nationally.
SARRC currently provides scholarships to families and individuals in our JumpStart® and Employment Services programs.
